Gulmarg is more than a ski destination. Surrounded by the Pir Panjal and blessed with deep Himalayan snowfall, it offers nursery slopes for first turns, one of the world’s highest gondolas, and unmanaged alpine terrain for those who have earned it. For beginners it is a place to learn. For experienced riders it is a playground. For anyone who loves mountains, it is a place that stays with you.

We don’t take you to the mountains. We take you into them.
Kashmir is more than a destination. It is forest, meadow, alpine lake and communities whose lives have always been tied to these ranges. Himalayan Ibex exists so you can meet that world properly — on skis, on a board, or on foot — with local knowledge, mountain craft and respect for the wilderness.
Whether you are clicking into skis for the first time, hunting untracked snow off the Pir Panjal, walking toward a high lake, or looking for the Kashmir that sits beyond the garden-and-shikara postcard, we take you there. The company grew from Gullu’s 2009 ski-guide registration, not from a plains-side start-up pitch.

Gullu, Mozim and Jawsheed built this school. Showket (IISM), Umar “Roy” Lone, Firdous, Manzoor, Ajaz and Mudasir ski, ride and patch you up when the mountain is rude. Locals. Certified. Still here in April and in August.
